Trinity Bird takes out the 2025 #JustAddRHUBI Mix With The Best Bartender Competition

On Tuesday night in Melbourne, five bartenders from around Australia gathered at Runner Up Rooftop for the #JustAddRHUBI Mix With The Best Bartender Competition. Cheered on by a supportive crowd of over 80 fellow bartenders, the national final saw Tanguy Charbonnet (Jackalope, VIC), Quinn Zuo (Island Radio, NSW), Judith Zhu (Bistro Ebony, NSW), Trinity Bird (Bouvardia, VIC), and Elliot Pascoe (Golden Avenue, QLD) battling it out to be crowned the winner.

But on the night, it was Trinity Bird and her drink, RHUBI Slippers, that took out the win.

Trinity Bird's RHUBI Slippers — RHUBI Apéritif, gin, mandarin and thyme scrub, acidified mandarin juice, wonder foam, Fever-Tree Blood Orange Soda.

“The standard this year was outstanding - every finalist brought something unique to the table,” said Linn Philips-Johansson, Brand Director at RHUBI. “Trinity Bird’s cocktail embodied everything RHUBI stands for: approachability, craft, and connection. With the support of Fever-Tree and Mix Haus, it’s inspiring to see how the competition continues to bring Australia’s bar community together in such a positive and creative way.”

It wasn't the only announcement on the night, however, with RHUBI and Mix Haus announcing plans for a Haus Of Allies event in 2026, which will be a panel series helping to foster safer and more inclusive hospo workplaces.
