Pete Hollands

After a long career behind the bar and time as a brand ambassador, Pete Hollands opened his first bar, the multi-award winning Frog’s Hollow Saloon, in 2022. The success of that whiskey-loving bar spurred Hollands on to open the rock and roll boozer, Alice, in 2023, before he added The Alliance Hotel to his stable in 2024. Then, late in 2025, he opened his newest bar, Shaman. Those bars, and the addition they have made to the fabric of Brisbane’s nightlife, are why the Queensland industry has voted Hollands the 2026 Person of the Year presented by Jack Daniel’s Bonded.
