Well, what a night that was! Last night in Brisbane, we welcomed a full house down to Dr Gimlette for the fourth annual Boothby Best Bars QLD Awards.
As always it was wonderful to see so many people, from Brisbane and Queensland more broadly, in the same room swapping stories, cheering on the bars, and having a good time. It’s always a good night because the Queensland bar scene always shows up and supports one another — and it’s such a privilege for us to be a part of it.
Last night, we counted down the 30 best bars in Queensland, and awarded seven major titles along the way:
- Queensland All Time Great presented by Club Suntory;
- Person of the Year Queensland presented by Jack Daniel’s Bonded;
- Best New Bar in Queensland presented by Bacardí;
- Best Hospitality Team Queensland presented by Campari Academy;
- Best Bar Eats in Queensland presented by Estrella Damm;
- Best Cocktail Bar in Queensland presented by Perrier;
- and the Best Bar in Queensland presented by Never Never.
