Your last chance to nominate in the Drinks 100 Australia Awards

If you haven’t had your say on who should be recognised on this year’s Drinks 100 Australia list, today is your last chance.

Nominations for the Drinks 100 Australia Awards close at 11:59pm tonight, Tuesday 31 March — you can have your say now at bartendersweekender.com or in the form linked here.

Unlike other lists, the Drinks 100 Australia is no popularity contest. It is a considered look at the 100 people who are working to make the drinks industry in Australia more meaningful, more exciting, and more creative every day — the people who inspire us on to bigger and better things.

And the list is not just about bartenders. The Drinks 100 Australia celebrates the creative and delicious work of the distillers, operators, bartenders, communicators, designers, and ambassadors who make the Australian scene one of the world’s best.

Self-nominations are encouraged — you’ve got to be in it to win it, as they say — and you can nominate in all categories or just one.

You can do so in the nomination form here. One nomination is all that is required for that person to be considered by the expert panel in the following voting round.

These votes determine the finalists in each category and the makeup of the Drinks 100 Australia list of the 100 people shaping Australian bar and drinks culture. The finalists will be revealed on Monday 27 April on Boothby and social media.

The winners are then revealed at the black tie Drinks 100 Australia Awards Gala on Tuesday 16 June at the Bartenders’ Weekender in Adelaide, with tickets exclusive to those on the Drinks 100 list, and sponsors.

Speaking of Bartenders’ Weekender, have you seen the stacked lineup of events taking place across three days in Adelaide? With 32-plus events in store, as well as the Drinks 100 Australia Awards Gala and the Better Bars Summit presented by Monkey Shoulder, it is going to be three days with the bar community you will not want to miss. Take a look at the timetable on bartendersweekender.com now, and book your accomodation through the links there to take advantage of big discounts with our hotel partners.
