Nominations are open now for the Boothby Best Bars NSW Awards

This is the fourth year of the Boothby Best Bars program, which recognises the great bars in each state that are making things nicer for the rest of us. Great bars speak to a time and place, and the big idea behind the Boothby Best Bars program is to get a better view of how we drink right now.

With that in mind, we are looking forward to the fourth instalment of the Boothby Best Bars NSW Awards, with the event itself taking place on Monday 13 July at Earl’s Juke Joint. But before then, before we get to the list, we’re asking you to tell us which bars you think are the ones who are making great drinks, offering a great experience, and getting the hospitality right, whether they’re in the city or the regions.

The Boothby Best Bars awards are about recognition on a state by state basis — but they are also about putting on a great big hospo party to celebrate the industry.

So, when we count down the Boothby Best Bars NSW Top 50, we’ll also be giving out seven major awards:

Nominations are open now. It takes only one nomination for a bar to be considered in the next round of voting by the NSW Boothby advisory panel, and — for the first time this year — by paid Boothby members.
