Pendant Public Bar’s House Old Fash has a cognac heart

Here’s an Improved Old Fashioned with a cognac heart.

“An Old Fashioned, just the way we like it,” says the drink’s creator, Luke Kelly.

At Pendant Public Bar, that means Francois Voyer VS Cognac, a splash of Wild Turkey Rye and a touch of Marionette Still Strength Curaçao.

House Old Fash

Ingredients:

• 50ml Francois Voyer VS Cognac
• 10ml Wild Turkey Rye
• 5ml Marionette Still Strength Curaçao
• 5ml magic syrup (2:1 simple syrup with 2% salt and 1% citric acid)
• 5 dash Angostura Bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters

Method:

1. Build all ingredients in a rocks glass.
2. Add a large block of ice.
3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
