Here’s a cocktail named for one of the world’s most luxurious fabrics.
“Silk is a sophisticated liquid interpretation of one of the most expensive and luxurious textiles,” says the drink’s creator, Ali Toghani.
“The cocktail mimics the silky and smooth textures of the material with notes of lychee, raspberry, rhubarb, coconut cream and juniper which is then carbonated and topped with sparkling wine for bright effervescent mouthfeel which plays with the smooth and slight bittersweet notes of the cocktail.”
