Two days to go: the Bartenders’ Weekender kicks of Sunday

Well, true to form, the weather in Brisbane this weekend is all clear skies and sunshine — and even some temperatures that tip into the 22C, 23C range. Beautiful one day, right?
And the forecast for the Bartenders’ Weekender, which kicks off this Sunday? A large measure of Good Times.
Both Penny and I are looking forward to Bartenders’ Weekender opening day, and for all the parties, tastings, talks, catchups, and bar world camaraderie that comes with it.
There are 37 events taking place over the three days, from Sunday 16th to Tuesday 18th. You can visit bartendersweekender.com/timetable to see what’s on, and RSVP — but hurry, because some events are already booked up and sold out.
This is also the very last call for tickets to The Better Bars Summit presented by Glenfiddich on Monday and Tuesday — at the time of writing we’ve got three tickets left (!). If you want them, hit the link here to snap them up before they’re gone.
And we’re also excited to get around to all the On The Card! sessions — there are eight sessions happening between 6pm and 9pm on Sunday night, and it’s Brisbane’s chance to show off just how great the bars are up here. Brand ambassadors from Bartenders’ Weekender partners will be posting up and shouting some drinks for attendees, and Brisbane’s best bartenders putting their best foot forward.
I know I speak for Penny when I say just how humbled and excited we are by all of the support that’s out there for Bartenders’ Weekender, for everyone who is coming to Brisbane from out of town, from up and down the coast, from interstate and across the country, all to get together with likeminded bar and drinks folks. Let’s celebrate, learn, party, and make the weekend one to remember.
